On June 1st and 2nd, the annual event known as Rendez-Vous aux Jardins will take place, welcoming visitors to explore the beauty and diversity of gardens across France.
Established by the Ministry of Culture in 2003, this national celebration highlights the significance of public, private, and historic gardens. The event aims to showcase the natural and architectural heritage of the country while providing engaging activities for attendees and acknowledging the hard work of professionals in the field. This year, the focus shifts to the five senses, building on last year's theme of Music in the Garden.

Exploration of Sensory Gardens – open to everyone Visitors can freely navigate a labyrinthine garden where each section is designed to awaken a different sense. From the vibrant colors of the Jardin de la Vue to the tactile experiences in the Jardin du Toucher, every corner invites exploration. Aromatic flowers fill the air, while the Jardin du Goût offers a delightful selection of fruits, edible flowers, and other garden curiosities. The auditory experience is enriched by the gentle sounds of fountains and the cheerful chirping of birds!

Little Perfumer Workshop – for ages 6 to 12 After an olfactory tour of the garden, young participants will engage in a fragrance creation workshop. Here, they will learn to blend various notes to craft a unique scent. At the conclusion of this creative journey, each child will take home a perfume infused with memories from Le Jardin des Cinq Sens.

Energetic Plant Singing – for adults only Rachel Colas introduces a unique method that utilizes plant music to enhance the sensory connection with nature. Participants will experience the "vibrational field" of plants, immersing themselves in a soothing and transformative experience as they listen to the delicate melodies produced by the leaves.

Counter-Sensory Tour – family-friendly Guided by a garden expert, families can embark on an unconventional journey through the garden, engaging in various sensory challenges along the way. This interactive experience encourages family members to participate actively in discovering the garden's wonders.
