Next weekend, the Vicopisano Castello in Fiore returns for its 14th edition in the heart of one of the most charming medieval villages in Tuscany. Every spring, nature comes to life with the floriculture fair that has been transforming historic streets and squares into an open-air garden since 2012: scents, colors, and beauty intertwine among the ancient stones of the village, creating a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere on May 16 and 17, 2026. This edition features a rich program of initiatives. This year, I will be present with two events on both Saturday and Sunday!
Castellino in Fiore also returns on Via Lante, with many free workshops for children.
- Saturday, May 16, 3:00 PM | Garden of the Batini Foundation – ‘Orchids Without Secrets’. Practical demonstration for repotting and creating a summer floral arrangement.
- Sunday, May 17, 5:00 PM | In front of the library on Via Lante – “Seeds of Yesterday, Hands of Tomorrow: The Grandparents' Garden”.
A generational workshop that I will hold with the grandparents from the Social Gardens of Uliveto, where the little ones, together with their grandparents – guardians of patience and the secrets of the earth – will learn to plant permanent gardens and fragrant herbs. A precious moment to cultivate not only plants but also authentic bonds, transforming simple containers into vibrant and lasting green spaces. An opportunity to slow down, learn, and grow together.
